Topic and Background

The world today is increasingly confronted with individualisation, polarising opinions and echo chambers, particularly through social media but also within our communities and families. This can lead to uncertainty about our own standpoint, difficulties in engaging with differing views, and a growing distance from democratic dialogue. Spaces for meaningful exchange, orientation and spaces where complexity, doubt and disagreement can be explored constructively, are rare.

Against this background, the project addresses the following questions: How do we navigate a world where facts, opinions and moral values often blur together? What provides orientation in times of information overload? How is it possible to reflect on and express one’s own identity and beliefs while remaining open to productive dialogue and other perspectives? How can points of view remain in motion?

Topics are explored through a combination of discussion, reflection and artistic research. POV participants are asked to actively shape the thematic direction of the project. The focus will be defined based on your experiences and interests: you will be asked to share and reflect your perspective in dialogue with others.

Collective discussion and workshop formats and artistic research and expression are closely connected. The final performance reflects this process. It brings together individual perspectives and transforms them into a shared artistic outcome.
